Knots privacy
Your listening data stays with you.
No Lumik data collection
Knots does not collect or store your personal information, library, listening activity, settings, or downloaded episodes on Lumik servers. Knots does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and it does not require a Lumik account.
On your device and in iCloud
Knots stores your library, playback progress, queue, downloads, settings, and other app data on your device. If iCloud Sync is enabled, Apple stores the data needed to sync Knots across your devices in your private iCloud account. Lumik does not have access to that private iCloud data. Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy apply to Apple’s service.
RSS feeds and Apple Podcasts
Knots loads podcast and article content directly from the RSS or Atom feed URLs you add or choose, and searches Apple’s public Podcasts directory directly from your device. Feed and search requests go to those services, not through Lumik servers. Those publishers and services control their own data practices.
Purchases
Apple processes Knots subscriptions and other in-app purchases. Knots does not receive or store your payment card details.
Support
If you email knots@lumik.space, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond and provide support. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
